I’m super happy. I just was thrilled, immediately. As soon as I moved everything over to BenchmarkONE, every time I log in to BenchmarkONE, I’m happy. It’s just that simple. I live by the rule, if it’s not fun, I’m not doing it. BenchmarkONE is just fun for me.
I have been online fulltime for 8 years. I started my business when I was widowed in 2003. I lost my husband in a car accident, and our kids were only 6 and 2. I was working full time, and I just hit a point where I had a bit of a cushion and I decided I wanted to do something from home that was more fulfilling, and I made a go of it.
My audience is the everyday user, the person building their business with WordPress, or who wants to make money with WordPress. Your site has to look good and represent your brand. And I like stuff to be easy – which is obviously why I like BenchmarkONE.
Who haven’t I used in terms of email marketing? I started with One Shopping Cart. I loved Aweber, but they were very limited.
Twice I’ve gone to Infusionsoft. They’re a great company, and I’m happy for their success. At the same time, I do consider myself pretty technical. My frustrations were that I want to get logged in, set a campaign up, segment my subscribers, and do it easily. I didn’t want to have to dive into something twelve levels deep just to get a campaign up. I ended up needing someone to manage it for me.
BenchmarkONE has completely pulled out the need for the middle person to manage marketing automation for me. I was able to move from Infusionsoft, and still had lists with Aweber. Within 24 hours I had everything – forms and contacts – moved over to BenchmarkONE. Even the import process was simple. BenchmarkONE walks you through it.
With BenchmarkONE, I can go in and create a campaign or create a web form and integrate it with the third party tools I use, like sales pages and squeeze pages.
BenchmarkONE eliminated the need to block off hours to get things done. I don’t dread logging in, I’m like, “Sweet, I’m logging in, I’m checking it out.” It’s fantastic.
It was the campaign builder. I like the fact that it’s step by step. I’m a visual person, so I like that I can see “Email 1,” Email 2,” “Email 3” in a visual sequence. And then I just click to add an action or add a tag. I wasn’t left wondering what was happening next – I could see it.
I love the fact that I could see a campaign. When you start scaling a business, you need to be able to track and measure things. Initially, you’re excited just to get an opt-in, but you get to a point where you need to see what’s working and what’s not working.
For me, the “ah-ha” moment was the fact that I could see it all in one place and make it happen quickly.
The email builder is beautiful. I’m a big geek about the way stuff looks, so I love it. And talk about a drag & drop builder that works. It was truly easy.
I’m constantly measuring and diving into the metrics of everything. So for example, yesterday I made some changes to the homepage on my site and added a new opt-in offer targeted specifically to my ideal audience.
I just grabbed the HTML from my BenchmarkONE form for the new offer, and pretty quickly I had 15 subscribers.
Also, since my business has shifted, I can tag and segment my audience, login to my dashboard and see that they’ve opened a specific email or where they are opting in.
BenchmarkONE has saved me a boatload of time, so there’s definitely a financial impact there.
It does everything you need to build a quality database of subscribers and customers. You can really start targeting and easily set-up and manage your contacts based on your subscribers and the actions they take. It’s so easy to use and I love that I can see everything so easily.
First of all, the customers service is awesome – I’m super happy. I just was thrilled, immediately. As soon as I moved everything over to BenchmarkONE, every time I log in to BenchmarkONE, I’m happy. It’s just that simple. I live by the rule, if it’s not fun, I’m not doing it. BenchmarkONE is just fun for me.
